At 22.5°C the water is mild — comfortable for swimming for most people. Sea temperature lags the seasons, so the warmest water at Mykonosusually comes a month or two after the hottest air, and a cold current or a spell of offshore wind can drop it sharply within a day. This is the surface layer; it's cooler a few metres down.
