WEATHER Β· HURRICANE & CYCLONE TRACKER

Live Hurricane & Cyclone Tracker

Every named tropical cyclone active on Earth right now. Each storm has its own live page β€” its position, the official forecast track and cone of uncertainty, how strong it is and which cities lie in the path. Pages appear the moment a storm is named and update themselves as new advisories land.

No named tropical cyclones are active in the NOAA NHC basins right now β€” a quiet map. This tracker lights up the moment a storm is named; checked Mon, 13 Jul 2026 14:05:51 GMT.

Reading a storm forecast

The cone shows the likely path of the storm centre β€” it is uncertainty, not a guarantee. Hazards (wind, surge, rain) routinely reach well outside it. Always follow your local warnings.

A cyclone is ranked by its sustained wind on the Saffir–Simpson scale (Category 1–5); tropical storms and depressions sit below that. The Atlantic and East/Central Pacific carry the full NHC forecast cone and track; storms in other basins (the West Pacific and Indian Ocean) show position and alert level from GDACS, labelled as such.
