World Music Radio Stations
Folk and regional traditions — reggae, salsa, cumbia, afrobeat, Bollywood, flamenco, celtic, bhangra. Right now the playable set holds 1,026 world music stations across 93countries — of 1,843 in-genre listings in the full directory — and 377 of them carry real coordinates, so they glow this colour on the listening globe. Every play button below streams straight from the broadcaster’s own servers.

The 25 most-loved world music stations
BY LISTENER VOTESRanked by the radio-browser community’s own votes, shown as-is. Tap PLAY and it streams here on the page; stations with real coordinates also carry an ON THE GLOBE link. Streams die and move daily on internet radio — a station that refuses to answer says so plainly, and you simply try another.
How world music is drawn (and why some stations are missing)
Genre here is a curated whitelist, not the raw directory tags— the community tag field is noisy (a bulk import once flooded it with city names and junk), so LiveEarthViewer folds tags into seven families using a hand-audited pattern list. For world music the patterns are: folk, world music, reggae, salsa, cumbia, afrobeat, bollywood, flamenco, celtic, bhangra. When a tag is ambiguous, the station is deliberately left unclassified rather than mislabelled — 19,154 of the 29,309playable stations carry no genre at all, and that is the honest majority state, not a gap to paper over. A station’s own description always wins over our label.
