GDP Generated Today, by Country

Each country’s economic output so far, its annual GDP spread evenly across the year. A smooth average, not the real daily rhythm of an economy.

Worldwide, that is about $303.86 billion per day, across every country. The ranked list below is each country’s own share of that flow — tap any country for its full breakdown.

About these numbers

These are honest projections, not a live census. Each country’s yearly figure is carried forward evenly over real elapsed time (USDper second = the annual figure ÷ 31,556,952 seconds), the same method the headline counters on the Pulse wall use. The source is World Bank Open Data (CC-BY 4.0) (2024). The true value is known only to within a margin; this is the running estimate, and we label it as one.
